DARKSPACE Confirmed For TOM WARRIOR's ONLY DEATH IS REAL Event At ROADBURN

February 23, 2010

DARKSPACE has been confirmed for Tom Gabriel Warrior's Only Death Is Real event at this year's Roadburn Festival.

Having been described as "the black metal equivalent of the 'Eraserhead' soundtrack", there is little doubt that Switzerland's DARKSPACE is one of the most esoteric bands in metal today. Solely on strength of their visionary records and excellent live shows, DARKSPACE has earned a reputation for innovation and excellence in the music underground.

DARKSPACE's sound is hallucinatory, their brand of organic black metal induces rapture with pummeling/pulsing bass and guitar work swirling into amorphous, bleak clouds of noise, drone and ambient. Their name and their sound are both a tribute to, and a description of, an endless void of darkness — leaving no question as to the meaning of DARKSPACE.

In addition, Tom Gabriel Warrior will introduce his new incarnation, TRIPTYKON, who will make their major on-stage debut at Roadburn Festival 2010 in the headlining slot in support of their forthcoming album, titled "Eparistera Daimones".

The Roadburn Festival will be held once again at the 013 venue, and Midi Theatre in Tilburg, Holland from Thursday, April 15 through Sunday, April 18, 2010.
