DARKTHRONE: 'Sardonic Wrath' Cover Art Posted Online

The young Italian artist Lorenzo Mariani (MARDUK, ABORYM) has released the drawing which will be featured as the cover art for the new DARKTHRONE album, "Sardonic Wrath", tentatively due in September. Check it out here.

Commented DARKTHRONE guitarist/vocalist Nocturno Culto (a.k.a. Ted Skjellum). "Lorenzo Mariani convinced me on the cover artwork department. His stunning work for us on this release will be one of our best covers ever. No fuckin' glamour here!"

"Sardonic Wrath" will reportedly contain nine tracks and will be released through Moonfog Productions.
