DAVE MUSTAINE Says He Has Made Up His Mind As To Whether MEGADETH Will Continue

March 26, 2005

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site:

"There are so many rumors going around about this summer tour that I am really enjoying myself. We confirmed the fourth band for our main stage (if there is a second stage) and I am thrilled to announced that the total amount of letters for the four bands so far are about 40 letters. I know this helps a lot of a little and will make some of you mad.

"We are just deciding who the last guest will be on this initial 'flagship' run of what we hope to be a recurring festival next year too.

"Lastly, I had a huge conference call with all my management and attorneys yesterday about my career and its current ascension, much to my delight, and I have made up my mind what I am going to do about MEGADETH. I will make my announcement sometime this summer. It is going to take a lot of work, and probably some intense struggles; not that I am a stranger to them, but I think some of you will be happy for me."
