DAVE NAVARRO Gives Props To MCQUEEN
May 14, 2008Leah Duors (vocals) and Hayley Cramer (drums) of the UK all-girl rock outfit MCQUEEN joined CAMP FREDDY's Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES),Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION) and Billy Morrison as special guests alongside Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) and Duff McKagan (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) for the GUNS N' ROSES classic "It's So Easy" live at The Roxy in West Hollywood, California this past Thursday, May 8.
Commented Navarro: "I have to admit, not only did [the MCQUEEN girls] kill it, but it was kind of hot to hear her sing the line, 'Turn around bitch I got a use for you!' As amazing as it is to do these shows with my musical peers and heroes, there is nothing more inspiring than to watch new talents like MCQUEEN get up with us and rock it like nobody's business. Those are the moments that really make me smile. That inner knowing... 'Fuck yeah, it ain't dead yet!'"
