DAVE NAVARRO Spends New Year's Eve With SHARON And OZZY OSBOURNE
January 3, 2006Former JANE'S ADDICTION and current THE PANIC CHANNEL guitarist Dave Navarro spent New Year's Eve at Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's house "with the Morrisons [former THE CULT touring bassist/current CAMP FREDDY guitarist Billy Morrison and his wife], Billy Duffy [THE CULT guitarist] and his girl Jennifer," according to Dave's posting on his web site. "It was really a great time and they literally live within five minutes from our place, so it was simple fun and easy," Dave writes. "The way things should be on New Year's Eve. The 1st [of January] also marked four years off the drinks and drugs for me. It was really special to celebrate that with my wife and good friends."
THE PANIC CHANNEL, the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs, are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut album with producer Josh Abraham (KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT, VELVET REVOLVER) for a tentative early 2006 release through Capitol Records.
