DAVE NAVARRO To Rehearse With OZZY OSBOURNE For Benefit Concert
February 15, 2005According to a posting on his official web site, former JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro is scheduled to "take a few hours off" on Tuesday (Feb. 15) "to go and rock with Ozzy [Osbourne] at rehearsal for the [Concert for South Asia] tsunami thing [Navarro's 'jam' band] CAMP FREDDY is doing" on Friday, February 18.
As previously reported, Osbourne and LINKIN PARK are among the artists confirmed for Music for Relief's Concert for South Asia, to be held at Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California. Also scheduled to appear are JAY-Z, BLINK-182, NO DOUBT and JURASSIC 5. All proceeds from the concert will benefit Music for Relief, the organization formed in part by LINKIN PARK that has raised more than $1.5 million for victims of the tsunamis. Organizers hope the concert will raise more than $1 million for tsunami relief.
