DAVID LEE ROTH Tracks New Material During Break From Touring
July 22, 2002DAVID LEE ROTH has been busy tracking new tunes at a recording studio during the break before the second leg of his joint tour with ex-VAN HALEN frontman SAMMY HAGAR, according to DLR drummer Ray Luzier. In related news, Luzier has "been working on vocal ideas for my CD featuring Scott Bush and Ricky Wolking from THE NIXONS. It's coming along slowly but surely. Check out Ricky's new CD Honky MoFo, I played on 4 tunes... Guitarist Tracy G [ex-DIO] asked me to play on a couple of tunes for his new CD coming out this fall, always a pleasure to work with him... The instrumental side project that I belong to, HIDEOUS SUN DEMONS, will be featured on a guitar compilation coming out later this year. Joe Becker (Jason's brother) is currently putting it together. HSD features guitar great Toshi Hiketa and DLR bassist James Lomenzo, we hope to have a full length CD completed by the end of the year."
