DAWN: Rehearsal Recording Of New Song Posted Online

DAWN, the Swedish band featuring ex-members of AFFLICTED, DARK FUNERAL and CRANIUM, has posted a 2006 rehearsal recording of an as-yet-untitled new track at this location (MP3, 7 MB). The song is set to appear on the group's long-awaited third CD, "The Fourfold Furnace", tentatively due in early 2008. "On the album this track will be much faster with a better production," the band said.

With regards to DAWN's current musical direction, guitarist Fredrik Söderberg previously stated, "We have maintained elements of [1998's] 'Slaughtersun (Crown of Triarchy)'. We have also moved towards a more dark melodic and classic DAWN frame of mind. The classical guitar arrangements and melodies are also more brutal and faster then before. 'Epic' is also a good word for the album."
