DAYLIGHT DIES Finishing Up Songwriting Process For New Album
May 6, 2004North Carolina-based doom/death metallers DAYLIGHT DIES are finishing up the songwriting process for their second album, "with six songs completed and two remaining," according to the group's official newsletter. "As previously mentioned, the new material is more varied, dynamic and shows a clear progression from 'No Reply'. A more mature songwriting approach, as well as a touch of clean vocals here and there, will be incorporated. The writing is temporarily on hold in preparation for the upcoming one-off dates but will resume immediately upon returning home. Expect studio dates and further news on the upcoming album in the near future."
In other news, DAYLIGHT DIES bassist Egan O'Rourke has secured endorsements with Aguilar Amplification and Tech 21 pedals.
DAYLIGHT DIES recently announced the addition of vocalist Nathan Ellis (formerly of WEHRWOLFE) to the group's ranks.
