February 15, 2010

SCARPOINT drummer Erik Thyselius will fill in for Alexander Svenningson of the Swedish "pop/metal" band DEAD BY APRIL for the latter group's February 27 concert in Sälen, Sweden.

DEAD BY APRIL's self-titled debut album was released in the U.K. on August 3, 2009 via Spinefarm. The CD, which was issued in Sweden on May 13, 2009 via Universal, was produced by Henrik Edenhed, who has previously worked with ROBYN, LAMBRETTA, TEDDYBEARS, CHRISTIAN WALTZ and THE SOUNDS.

"Losing You", the first single from DEAD BY APRIL, topped the official chart in the band's home country.

Berlin, Germany's PitCam Production has posted video footage of DEAD BY APRIL's September 17, 2009 performance at the Sage Club in Berlin. Watch the clip below.
