DEAD HEAD Demoing New Material

August 27, 2006

Veteran Dutch thrashers DEAD HEAD are currently in the studio working on demos for their forthcoming fifth album, tentatively due next year. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The Swing", "Less Than Zero" and "Dissolved in Purity".

In other news, DEAD HEAD has uploaded a 3.5-minute compilation of video footage from the recording sessions for last year's "Haatland" album. Check it out at YouTube.com.

Formed in 1989, DEAD HEAD recorded "Haatland" at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR). A 10-inch vinyl EP, "Dog God", featuring two songs from "Haatland", the IRON MAIDEN cover "Total Eclipse" and a re-recording of an older track, was released in 2004 via Fadeless Records.

DEAD HEAD will support German thrashers DESTRUCTION on the following dates:

Sep. 08 - Deventer, NETH @ Burgerweeshuis
Sep. 09 - Eindhoven, NETH @ Dynamo Club
Sep. 10 - Haarlem, NETH @ Patronaat
