DEAD SUN: RIBSPREADER Mainman Reactivates Old Project

July 7, 2005

A demo recording of RIBSPREADER/PAGANIZER mainman Rogga Johansson's old band DEAD SUN has recently been excavated from its tomb. The band that predated PAGANIZER and also included former PAGANIZER guitar player Andreas Karlsson (now active in ANOTHER LIFE with Dan Swanö, among others) recorded this promo in 1999 while also working on a presumed full-length effort. Due to different circumstances, both the label the band was on and the band itself went into hibernation. Now the band is reactivated and working on material for a new promo, which will hopefully get a label to release their "utterly Swedish brand of gothic death metal." Two of the five songs reocorded for the old promo ("Walking Away" and "Paingiver") can be found at this location.
