DEATH ANGEL Frontman Rushed To Hospital For Torn Eyeball

June 27, 2007

ALL TIME HIGHS, the new San Francisco Bay Area-based band featuring DEATH ANGEL frontman Mark Osegueda alongside members of LICA-STO, TRES PISTOLAS, THE SICK and OOZIES, has issued the following update:

"During a recording session [Sunday] afternoon [June 24] at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley CA, Mark Osegueda was rushed to the emergency room after passing out in a vocal booth. While screaming Mark fell forward into a microphone stand that had neither a mic or mic clip on it. The pole went into his eye. He was rushed to the hospital shortly after. The doctors did tests and the beautiful eye is going to make it. No serious injuries occured. Just a torn eyeball. OUCH!!!! ALL TIME HIGHS had to cancel their appearance [Sunday night] in Oakland. Mark will be recovering in the mountains of Idaho and will be back very soon. Everyone pray for our beloved singer and metal icon. And please don't forget to pray for his lovely eyeball as well. See you all on July 6th at Annies in SF."

Upcoming ALL TIME HIGHS shows:

July 06 - Annie's Social Club - San Francisco, CA
July 12 - Alex's Bar - Long Beach, CA
July 13 - Dive Bar - Las Vegas, NV
July 20 - Blakes On Telegraph - Berkeley, CA

According to the band's official bio, ALL TIME HIGHS is a five-piece from Oakland, California which has "quickly emerged as one of the San Francisco Bay Area's premier rock 'n roll bands. Osegueda brings to the stage a blend of attitude, sex and fury like no other in his class. . . This is a high-energy band that brings a true passion for what they do to the stage with every performance. The band's influences range from JERRY LEE LEWIS, CHUCK BERRY, MC5, AC/DC, NEW YORK DOLLS, THIN LIZZY, and MOTÖRHEAD to TOILET BOYS, DWARVES, BRONX, ZEKE, HOT SNAKES, TURBONEGRO, THE BRIEFS, DANKO JONES, and M.C. DEVILS. Rock 'n' roll has never died, it has just gone underground and that is right where ALL TIME HIGHS like to be."
