DEATH ANGEL, GOD FORBID: More 'In Thrash We Trust' Tour Dates Announced

San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans DEATH ANGEL will embark on their first full U.S. tour since their initial split 18 years ago! The band will co-headline the "In Thrash We Trust" trek this May/June with GOD FORBID, with support from SOILENT GREEN and LIGHT THIS CITY.

Comented DEATH ANGEL guitarist Rob Cavestany: "DEATH ANGEL is teaming up with GOD FORBID to hit the road and we couldn't be more stoked! 'In Thrash We Trust' will be the first full blown tour of the states that DEATH ANGEL has done since the 'Act III Tour' in 1990 and we are gonna bring it! Also on the bill are SOILENT GREEN and LIGHT THIS CITY so you better prepare to get thrashed all night long! Can't wait to see you all very soon! 'Killing Season' has begun!!!"

DEATH ANGEL's new album, "Killing Season", recently entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 59. The CD also landed on the Dutch chart at No. 56.

"Killing Season" sold around 2,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This number is in line with the performance of its predecessor, "The Art of Dying", which registered a first-week sales tally of around 2,100 back in May 2004.

EMG Pickups has posted video footage of DEATH ANGEL performing the song "Dethroned" at the group's new CD-release party on Thursday, February 28 at Slim's in San Francisco. Watch the clip below.

DEATH ANGEL filmed a video for "Dethroned" on January 29 with director Robert Sexton (THE DWARVES, AMEN, MONDO GENERATOR) in Santa Paula, California. Check out photos from the video shoot at this location.
