'Death Rapper' NECRO Films 'The Pre-Fix For Death' Video

June 16, 2007

Brooklyn, New York metal/hip-hop "death rapper" NECRO shot a video this past week for the song "The Pre-fix for Death" with acclaimed director David Brodsky (GWAR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, THE RED CHORD) of MyGoodEye.

In between his recent appearance at the Download festival in the U.K. and his upcoming U.S. run on the entire Sounds of the Underground tour, Necro is working on a new album, to be released later this year on his label, Psycho+Logical-Records.

Former SEPULTURA drummer Igor Cavalera made a special appearance with NECRO last September at B.B. King Blues Bar & Grill in New York City. According to a review at LivingForMetal.com, Igor "joined [NECRO] onstage during the fourth song of the set... for a freestyle type of song where Igor laid down drum beats and Necro rapped over them, then Igor stayed onstage and played drums to 'The Pre-Fix for Death' and killed it."
