DEATHRASH: New Song To Be Posted Online This Friday

Bassist/founding member Pat Burns of the reunited New Jersey thrashers DEATHRASH has issued the following update:

"DEATHRASH will be posting the song 'Unfinished Business' on our MySpace page this Friday, March 7! This is the first new DEATHRASH song in 20 years and the first track from our upcoming CD 'Thrash Beyond Death'. We have also posted the artwork for the CD cover by artist Rich Rethorn. 'Thrash Beyond Death' will be out summer of 2008.

The upcoming DEATHRASH CD, "Thrash Beyond Death", is expected to include live recordings circa 1986-87 from CBGB in New York City, The Grunge Club in upstate New York and the band's last show at The Electric Banana in Pittsburgh. In addition, the album will include the new songs "Unfinished Business" and "Thrash Beyond Death". All the original members are involved: John Scherer (vocals),Pat Nemeth (guitar),Tim Scherer (guitar) and Pat Burns (bass).

DEATHRASH's lineup briefly included drummer Tony Scaglione, who had previously played with WHIPLASH, SLAYER, LUDICHRIST and RAGING SLAB, among other acts.
