DEATHRASH Schedules 'Thrash Beyond Death' CD-Release Parties

January 15, 2010

Reunited New Jersey thrashers DEATHRASH will celebrate the release of their long-awaited new album, "Thrash Beyond Death", by playing the following shows:

Jan. 22 - Dingbatz - Clifton, NJ
Jan. 23 - Duff's Brooklyn - Williamsburg, NY

"Thrash Beyond Death" includes the new tracks "Thrash Beyond Death", "Unfinished Business", "Buried Alive", "Red All Over" and "Warkeeper" as well as the "Faces Of Death" demo from 1986 and the "Live at CBGB's" recording from the band's August 10, 1986 show at the legendary club.

Commented bassist Pat Burns: "Originally we had planned to have live tracks from various shows on the CD but the differences in sound quality made us decide to go with just the CBGB's show. The show featured DEATHRASH classics such as 'Heart Of The Darkness', 'Feel You Die' and 'A Time To Slay' as well as the demo tracks.

"The 'Thrash Beyond Death' CD has taken so long to release because what had originally been a CD of old demo and live tracks turned into a full-on band reunion and we wanted to feature new tracks as well as old. We wanted everything to be right because you only get to come back after 20 years ONCE! When everyone gets a chance to hear it, I think they will agree it was worth the wait."
