DECAPITATED Singer Moved To Polish Hospital, Is In 'Stable' Condition
November 6, 2007DECAPITATED drummer Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka died late last week at the age of 23 in a Russian hospital from injuries sustained in a recent road collision. DECAPITATED singer Covan (real name: Adrian Kowanek) was also hurt in the accident, which involved the band's tour bus and a truck carrying wood in Gomel, on the Russia/Belarus border. The frontman reportedly also sustained a head injury in the collision, which is believed to have been the fault of the band's driver (although this has not yet been officially confirmed).
DECAPITATED's official MySpace page has now been update with the following message:
"Covan is currently at a hospital in Kraków, Poland. Doctors describe his condition as stable and he is showing signs of improvement every day. At this time, visiting is prohibited except to family members due to his fragile state. In the coming days, the decision on his follow-up treatment will be made."
