DECOMPOSTER Featuring FINNTROLL Members: Video Footage From The Studio

October 19, 2010

DECOMPOSTER, the new project featuring FINNTROLL frontman Mathias Lillmåns and guitarist Samuli Ponsimaa, has finished recording three new tracks of "groovy, old-sounding death metal." The band states, "[As with the previous demo], it took us three days to finish it. The session was a little more clear-headed this time and more solidly executed to give you that sense of evolution within the band (keeping in mind that this is not what we can technically play at best, but merely what we want to hear). The same organic and fat overall sound has been preserved, which makes the music more ear friendly and interesting to listen. Next up is the potential mixing/mastering process, cover art... the whole nine yards."

Video footage from the studio can be viewed below.

DECOMPOSTER's entire first demo, "Futile", is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. Check out the songs "The Composter", "Final Outpost" and "Futile" at this location.

DECOMPOSTER is:

Mathias Lillmåns (FINNTROLL) - Vocals/Bass
Samuli Ponsimaa (FINNTROLL) - Guitar
Mika Aaltonen - Guitar
Rainer Tuomikanto - Drums
