DEE SNIDER Performs TWISTED SISTER, AC/DC Classics At 'Bikers For Babies' Event (Video)

September 21, 2012

Dee Snider, the lead singer of the popular heavy metal band TWISTED SISTER as well as radio personality and actor, performed with the backing musicians in POISON frontman Bret Michaels' solo band on Saturday, September 15 at Lido Beach Town Park in Lido Beach, New York as part of Dee's 10th annual Bikers For Babies ride. Video footage of the performance can be seen below.

The bike ride featured over 2,000 motorcyclists who descended on Nassau County and joined Snider, the national spokesman of March Of Dimes' Bikers For Babies, as he continues his fight against premature birth.

Dee has a personal connection with the mission of the March Of Dimes because two of his four children were born prematurely.

Dee Snider has been a March Of Dimes volunteer, supporting Bikers For Babies, for more than a decade.

Each Bikers For Babies ride to benefit babies is about 70 miles long, with every mile counting to help fight premature birth and give every baby a healthy start in life.

The March Of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. With chapters nationwide, and its premier event, March For Babies, the March Of Dimes works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
