April 25, 2007DEEP PURPLE bassist Roger Glover donated one of his paintings to the Linda McCartney Centre last year. The painting was subsequently sold via an auction, raising £900 for cancer patients.
Taking advantage of a day's break in the the group's current U.K. tour, Roger visited the Centre at the royal hospital in Liverpool and personally signed 100 limited-edition prints to be auctioned off to raise money.
The prints will be available by calling (in U.K.) 0151 706 3153 or visiting www.yourcentre.org.
