DEEP PURPLE Compiling Fan Scrapbook

December 4, 2007

DEEP PURPLE's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"DEEP PURPLE has given so much to the fans over the years and now we want to give something back to them. DeepPurple.org is compiling a fan scrapbook and we need your help! We want you to submit a page to be included in the scrapbook.

"Get together all of your DEEP PURPLE memories — ticket stubs, photos of the band, newspaper clippings, and — most importantly — pictures of you, the fans! We'll then put together the best pages to be included in the scrapbook, which we will present to the band.

"Don't want to give up your most prized possessions? No problem — scan your page into the computer and email it to [email protected]. Just make sure to put 'Holiday Scrapbook' in the subject line. Want to send your page via snail mail? Send it to:

4 Brussels Street
Worcester, MA
01610
Attn: 'Deep Purple Fan Scrapbook'

"Make sure to submit your materials by Friday, December 14th so we have enough time to put everything together. As a thank you for submitting items for the scrapbook, everyone who submits will get a $5 Gift Card to the DeepPurple.org store — just in time for the holidays! Not only that, but the person who submits the coolest page for the scrapbook will win an autographed photo of the band! Now THAT is a good stocking stuffer!

"Spread the word to other DEEP PURPLE fans — we want to make this a great gift for the band, but we can't do it with out your help!"
