DEEP PURPLE Drummer, Guitarist Line Up Outside Appearances

DEEP PURPLE drummer Ian Paice makes a "special guest" appearance on Italian guitarist Tolo Marton's new double live CD, "Dal Vero".

The album, which was recorded in 2001/2002, features Paice on live renditions of the JIMI HENDRIX classics "Stone Free" and "Hey Joe".

In related news, DEEP PURPLE guitarist Steve Morse will embark on a short U.S. tour with his pre-PURPLE band DIXIE DREGS during January.
