DEEP PURPLE: European Itinerary Changes

DEEP PURPLE have been lined up to play a number of European festival dates in June and July 2004. Two of the German dates (Lennestadt and Leipzig) have recently been cancelled, and it now appears that the Midfyns Festival in Denmark has had to be called off, apparently due to poor ticket sales, with the 14,000 needed to break even out of reach. The organizers have filed for bankruptcy, and the Roskilde Festival, scheduled for July 4 (and not featuring DEEP PURPLE),has offered entry to Midtfyns ticket holders.
