DEEP PURPLE, MR. BIG Members To Guest On 'The Classic Metal Show'

DEEP PURPLE vocalist Ian Gillan and MR. BIG members Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan will be the featured guests on this weekend's (May 23) edition of "The Classic Metal Show".

"The Classic Metal Show" can be heard every Saturday night between 9:00 p.m. EST and 3:00 a.m. EST at www.cmsradio.net.

Gillan was interviewed for a recent "The Metal File" podcast from Montreal's CHOM-FM. You can stream the show online at this location.

Gillan will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guest tonight (Friday, May 22) during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio program, dubbed "The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show". Listen to the broadcast live via the Internet between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight) U.K. time at BBC.co.uk.

"One Eye To Morocco" entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 97. The CD was released on March 31 in North America via Eagle Rock Entertainment.

In Europe, "One Eye To Morocco" is available in the following formats: standard CD, limited-edition CD (details to be announced),2CD (standard CD + CD single) and 2LP set.

MR. BIG released a new "best-of" album titled "Next Time Around" on April 29 through WHD Entertaiment. The collection includes songs that were voted on by fans and contains two previously unreleased songs, "Next Time Around" (2009 remastered version) and "Hold Your Head Up" (2009 remastered version). It was made available as a limited deluxe edition with a bonus DVD.
