DEEP PURPLE's JON LORD And IAN GILLAN To Guest On New HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN Release

July 12, 2006

Legendary bassist Bob Daisley's (OZZY OSBOURNE, URIAH HEEP, GARY MOORE, BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW) official web site has been updated with the following message:

"Next Saturday Bob will be off to London for 10 days to record Jon Lord [ex-DEEP PURPLE] on the HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN tracks for the forthcoming studio album. It's all sounding good and should really come alive when Jon's on there. Jimmy Barnes will guest on two tracks as will a singer here that goes by the name of Jeff Duff. Ian Gillan (DEEP PURPLE) has agreed to guest on two tracks as well. I'm looking forward to getting it all finished and mixed. It's a blues album but with a rock edge and some good arrangements.

"There is still no firm release dates for KAHVAS JUTE as yet... but will be soon. There'll be the DVD 'Live at the Basement', entitled 'Then Again', which will have six bonus studio tracks and interviews etc. There will also be the re-release of the original album from 1971, entitled 'Wide Open', which is remastered with four bonus live tracks and a booklet. All this should be soon though."
