DEEP PURPLE: Summer Festival Appearances Announced

DEEP PURPLE are in talks to play a number of European festivals in June and July, according to These include a return to the Schwung Festival in Belgium, The Rockland Festival in Leipzig, Germany, the Legends Of Rock in Uster, Switzerland, and The Magic Night Of Rock in Coburg, Germany. Other bands that are scheduled to appear at the festivals alongside PURPLE include STATUS QUO and CHEAP TRICK.

DEEP PURPLE's European summer itinerary is shaping up as follows:

Jul. 02 - Legends Of Rock @ Stadion Buchholz – Uster, SWI
Jul. 03 - Magic Night... @ Coburger Schloßplatz – Coburg, GER
Jul. 08 - Schwung 2004 @ Hallen – Roeselare, BEL
Jul. 09 - Bospop Festival @ Sportpark Boshoven – Weert, NETH
Jul. 10 - The Rockland Festival @ Leipzig Arena – Leipzig, GER

DEEP PURPLE will kick off a North American tour with THIN LIZZY on February 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
