DEF LEPPARD Announces Tokyo Dates

After a six-year absence, DEF LEPPARD returns to Japan in 2008 to play two shows at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on October 23 and October 24.

DEF LEPPARD kicked off the European leg of its 2008 Sparkle Lounge tour on Wednesday, May 21. Starting at the Classic Rock Festival in Sandnes, Norway, the band will play in almost 20 European countries (including some where they have never been before) over the next two months.

For the third leg of the tour (North America),all support acts/guests have now been finalized. During the 16-date leg, there will be no less than five acts opening for DEF LEPPARD:

JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS (July 30 Aug. 3)
BILLY IDOL (Aug. 6-15 and Aug. 17-21)
EVERCLEAR (Aug. 16)
STYX/REO SPEEDWAGON (Aug. 23)

The final date of this leg is billed as "an evening with DEF LEPPARD."
