DEF LEPPARD Cancels India Shows

According to The Times of India, DEF LEPPARD has cancelled its concerts in India scheduled for October 17 and 19.

A message on the DEF LEPPARD web site says: "We are sorry to report that due to unforeseen circumstances, the two shows in India (scheduled to take place on October 17 and 19 in Bangalore and Mumbai) have been cancelled. We apologize to our Indian fans and hope to be able to make up for it in the future."

While the band itself has not upfront stated reasons for cancelling the show, it is believed that the organizers were anxious about the safety of people/fans and the band in view of recent blasts and attacks on churches in the country.
