DEF LEPPARD Launch Auction For Raven Drum Foundation

May 22, 2002

A message from DEF LEPPARD:

"The second auction features another item from Rick Allen's collection: Rick's Adrenalize bass drum, which was used on hundreds of dates throughout the band's 1992/1993 world tour. The drum features custom artwork on the side (the red and yellow triangular DEF LEPPARD logo) and still has the original drum heads Rick actually played on, as well as two electronic triggers still attached. The winner will also receive a hand-written note and phone call from Rick. If desired, the drum can be autographed as well.

"Just like the first auction (Rick's sleeveless flannel shirt),which changed owners for $3,550 last year , all proceeds will go to Rick's Raven Drum Foundation.

"Although this auction is mainly targeted at Hard Rock Cafes and other rock memorabilia museums, everybody is welcome to place their bids on this unique drum at this location. The auction ends on Friday, May 24th."
