DEF LEPPARD is working on a cartoon TV show as part of its wide-ranging deal with music publishing company Primary Wave.
The project is still in the early stages, and has not been pitched to the networks, but it will depict the five members of the group in a fictional, adventurous setting, Primary Wave CEO Larry Mestel told Reuters.
DEF LEPPARD recently cancelled the third leg of its North American tour due to unforeseen personal matters.
Last year, the band released deluxe editions of its classic albums "Pyromania" and "Adrenalize". The albums feature never-before-released B-sides and live recordings as well as nine Top 10 singles from the legendary rock band. The deluxe edition of "Pyromania" features a 15-track live show recorded at The Forum in Los Angeles in 1983. The deluxe edition of "Adrenalize" features demo tracks, live tracks and acoustic tracks.
DEF LEPPARD is now a free agent after fulfilling its contract with Universal Music, according to Reuters.
