DEF LEPPARD: Summer Tour Dates Announced

Following on the heels of their massively successful 2006 concert tour, DEF LEPPARD, one of rock's most exciting bands, have announced a mega summer concert tour that is set to hit all corners of the United States, as well as Canada. This year's outing will include 50 dates, kicking off on June 27 in Cincinnati and culminating on September 30 in Edmonton. STYX and FOREIGNER are scheduled to appear on select dates with tickets for the Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Detroit and Boston dates going on sale Saturday, April 21. The tour is being produced by Live Nation.

2006 was a watershed year for DEF LEPPARD with the group's summer concert tour becoming a must-see phenomenon. It was extended three times due to overwhelming demand for tickets from concert-goers and quickly became one of the year's most successful live music events. 2006 also included a gold record for "Rock Of Ages: The Definitive Collection", marking the group's 10th album certification, as well as two critically acclaim album releases; an exclusive limited edition version of the group's classic "Hysteria" album and "Yeah!", a tribute to the band's musical heroes, that received raves from Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and USA Today and featured the group's now definitive cover of "Rock On".

With more than 65 million albums sold worldwide, not to mention two prestigious Diamond Awards to their credit, DEF LEPPARDJoe Elliott (vocals),Vivian Campbell (guitar),Phil Collen (guitar),Rick "Sav" Savage (bass) and Rick Allen (drums) — continues to be one of the most important forces in rock music.
