DEF LEPPARD To Perform On 'The Tonight Show'

DEF LEPPARD's 12th studio album, "Yeah!", is scheduled for release on May 23. The CD is said to be "a heartfelt and hard-rocking tribute" to DEF LEPPARD's musical heroes of the late '60s and '70s — THE KINKS, BADFINGER, T. REX, DAVID BOWIE, SWEET, ROXY MUSIC, MOTT THE HOOPLE, FREE, FACES, and THIN LIZZY.

DEF LEPPARD have tapped JOURNEY as the opener for a 34-date coast-to-coast run that begins June 23 in Camden, N.J. After hitting the road in 2005 with BRYAN ADAMS, this is the second year in a row singer Joe Elliott and company have teamed up with an established act that may be outside of their perceived genre.
