In other news, DEFEATED SANITY has announced the addition of bassist extraordinaire Jacob Schmidt (CEREBRIC TURMOIL) to the group's ranks. After doing session work in the studio for their latest opus, "Psalms of the Moribund", he can now be seen performing the challenging material onstage, completing the band to a crushing five-piece.

Commented drummer Lille Gruber: "We feel extremely honoured that Jacob has decided to join DEFEATED SANITY full time, in addition to his activities with his own band. This presents the perfect solution for the band and finally puts an end to a very stressful search for a new bass player."

DEFEATED SANITY's sophomore album, "Psalms of the Moribund", was recorded at Soundlodge Studios in Rhauderfehn, Germany by Jörg Uken and was mastered by Robbe K of DISAVOWED. It was released in March via U.K. label Grindethic Records.
