DEFEATED SANITY Drummer To Tour With MUCOPUS

Drummer Lille Gruber of German brutal death metallers DEFEATED SANITY has been confirmed to sit behind the kit for the upcoming European tour of American death/grind outfit MUCOPUS. The dates that will feature Lille Gruber are the Deathfeast Open Air as well as all the July dates of the "Seven Undimensional Pigs" tour with PIGSTY and MINCING FURY AND GUTTURAL CLAMOUR OF QUEER DECAY.

Commented MUCOPUS guitarist Justin Knipper: "Our regular drummer, Kyle Eddy, will be unable perform on this summer's string of shows across Europe as he will not be able to obtain proper documentation to leave the country. However, we are extremely happy to announce that Lille has come in on such short notice and agreed to play these shows with us! Now, we are all guaranteed to have a good blast!"

The MUCOPUS band line-up for the tour will be:

In other news, MUCOPUS has entered the studio to record its sophomore album, "Undimensional", in Albany, New York, with completion of the recording taking place at Shaark Studios in Bzenec, Czech Republic. The cover artwork is being handled by Toshihiro Egawa (MALIGNANCY, MORTICIAN, DEEDS OF FLESH). "Undimensional" is set for a late summer release via Nice To Eat You Records.

MUCOPUS' debut album "Mulch?!?" was released in the fall of 2005 via U.S. imprint Amputated Vein Records.
