DEFTONES' CHI CHENG: No New Album Until 2003

DEFTONES' forthcoming CD, tentatively titled Lovers, will not surface before early 2003, bassist Chi Cheng has confirmed via a posting on the band's official web site. "We're not going to rush this mug, so I can tell you it will be sometime next year but I will tell you I think it will [be] well worth the wait," Cheng wrote. "Hang in there, and know we ain't trying to come with nothin' but what y'all deserve."
