DEFTONES Frontman Gives Props To Rapper HYRO DA HERO

DEFTONES and TEAM SLEEP frontman Chino Moreno reportedly chose the music that the Houston-bred, L.A.-based MC Hyro Da Hero spits over on "Candy Black", a track off Hyro's new full-length album, "Rock & Roll Gangsta". Moreno had this to say about the young MC, "Hyro da Hero is the kind of rapper that I like. He doesn't just follow the same tired mainstream trends. He's got an underground edge, but he's still catchy. I think he has a lot of potential."

On August 8, "Rock & Roll Gangsta" will be unleashed upon the masses as a download via the groundbreaking music social network iLike.com.
