DEFTONES Frontman Interviewed On Detroit's WRIF 101.1 FM
June 17, 2010Meltdown of Detroit, Michigan's WRIF 101.1 FM radio station conducted an interview with vocalist Chino Moreno of Sacramento, California's DEFTONES at the fourth annual Rock On The Range festival, which was held May 22-23 in Columbus, Ohio. DEFTONES' new album, "Diamond Eyes", sold 62,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 6 on The Billboard 200 chart.
DEFTONES' last album, "Saturday Night Wrist", opened with 76,000 units back in November 2006 to land at position No. 10 on The Billboard 200 chart.
"Diamond Eyes" was released on May 4 via Warner.

* Ghosts (JAPAN cover)
* Caress (DRIVE LIKE JEHU cover)
DEFTONES' video for the song "Diamond Eyes" was directed by Roboshobo (a.k.a. Robert Schober; METALLICA, MASTODON).
"Diamond Eyes" is DEFTONES' first album first since bassist Chi Cheng's life-altering car accident, which has left him in a comatose state.
