DEICIDE, SAMAEL, VADER, DEVIAN: Photos, Video Footage From Milan Available

January 19, 2009

Italian news blog Musica Metal has uploaded photos of the Milan, Italy stop (January 18) of the Winterfest '09 tour, featuring DEICIDE, SAMAEL, VADER and DEVIAN.

Fan-filmed video footage of DEICIDE and SAMAEL's performances can be watched below.

DEICIDE's current touring lineup includes returning guitarist Ralph Santolla, who is also a member of OBITUARY. His lengthy resume also includes stints with ICED EARTH, DEATH and SEBASTIAN BACH.

Santolla was a member of DEICIDE between 2005 and 2007. He played on the 2006 album "The Stench of Redemption" and he made a guest appearance on last year's "Till Death Do Us Part".

DEICIDE recently inked a new worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The band has been working on its new album at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, CHIMAIRA) and is looking at a summer release.

DEICIDE last summer announced that Kevin Quirion from ORDER OF ENNEAD had joined the band as its new touring guitarist. Quiron made his live debut with DEICIDE on September 13 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

DEICIDE and VITAL REMAINS will team up for a package tour in early 2009. The two bands will bring their infamous live performances to major markets across the United States in February. Support on all dates will come from ORDER OF ENNEAD — the Florida extreme metal band featuring Steve Asheim (drums; DEICIDE),Scott Patrick (bass; RESURRECTION),Kevin Quirion (guitar, vocals; COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN) and John Li (guitar) — and ADRIFT, the Tampa-based heavy rock band featuring Jack Owen of DEICIDE/CANNIBAL CORPSE fame.

"Till Death Do Us Part" sold 2,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
