DEMON HUNTER To Play One-Off Acoustic Show
January 20, 2009Seattle-based metallers DEMON HUNTER will perform a special acoustic set on March 14 at Benner Hall in Quakerstown, Pennsylvania. The band says, "This will be a full set! We have only done two acoustic performances prior to this one and this will be much longer. It will be a full show complete with local opening acts. As of right now, this is the ONLY show we have booked in all of 2009. There is no plans for a U.S. tour this year although there may be some other appearances, including our first international shows. But as of right now this is IT!"
DEMON HUNTER has posted the song "I Am You" from the band's forthcoming "Live In Nashville" CD on the group's MySpace page. Due on January 27, the album "is the CD version / audio of one of the two DVDs" in the recently released "45 Days" package, according to DEMON HUNTER. "The CD that is inside '45 Days' is the soundtrack/score to the documentary and two bonus tracks, it is not a live CD and it is not the same as 'Live in Nashville'."
DEMON HUNTER recently released a video for "Carry Me Down", the second single from the band's latest album for Solid State Records, "Storm The Gates Of Hell".
DEMON HUNTER's first album was released in 2002 and remains a classic to the group's loyal "Hunters". "Summer Of Darkness" arrived in 2004, bringing with it fan beloved songs like "Not Ready To Die" and "My Heartstrings Come Undone". "The Triptych" followed just a year later and has sold over 100,000 copies in the United States, featuring the MTV2 "Headbanger's Ball" staples "Undying" and "One Thousand Apologies".
