DENIAL FIEND: 'Dead Awakening' 7" EP Due Next Week

May 16, 2007

Ibex Moon Records will release DENIAL FIEND's "Dead Awakening" 7" EP on May 23. The single will consist of two alternate versions of the tracks "They Rise" and "Cover Me in Blood", which will appear on the band's upcoming full-length, to be released this fall. The pressing will be limited to a mere 500 copies and maybe ordered from the Ibex Moon Records web site. The tracks are currently available for preview on the bands official MySpace page.

Commented guitarist Sam Williams: "Although these are demo versions of these songs, we think they'll give people a pretty good taste of what's to come with our upcoming full-length: old school metal with some unexpected twists. There's not much out there that sounds like us right now. And after this is sold out, we won't be releasing these versions again."

DENIAL FIEND is the Tampa, Florida-based band featuring in its ranks Terry Butler (SIX FEET UNDER, ex-MASSACRE, ex-DEATH),Kam Lee (ex-MASSACRE, ex-MANTAS),Curt Beeson (NASTY SAVAGE, LOWBROW) and Sam Williams (DOWN BY LAW, PSEUDO HEROES).
