DENIM AND LEATHER Recruits Former VANDERHOOF Singer

DENIM AND LEATHER — a tribute to classic hard rock and heavy metal — has announced the addition of lead vocalist Drew Hart (VANDERHOOF, KAMELOT, TIMELESS HALL),drummer Zak Nilsson (son of legendary singer and songwriter Harry Nilsson) and guitarist Nate McCaslin (AURA SURREAL) to the group's ranks. Rounding out the band is founding member Jeff Baker (KINGS CHAMBER, AGGRESSOR) on bass and Jeremy Varao (MERCYKILL) on guitar and vocals.

DENIM AND LEATHER's past members include musicians from such bands as METAL CHURCH, LEATHERWOLF, LIZZY BORDEN, MALICE, HELSTAR, SEVEN WITCHES and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, some of whom still make appearances with the group. One such member is lead vocalist Ronny Munroe (METAL CHURCH, PRESTO BALLET, LILLIAN AXE) who plays with DENIM AND LEATHER as a guest from time to time.

DENIM AND LEATHER's new lineup will play its first shows on Friday, October 8 at Tailspin in Las Vegas, Nevada and Saturday, October 9 at the Firehouse in St. George, Utah.

DENIM AND LEATHER is recording songs for a CD release.
