August 24, 2010

Sick Drummer Magazine has uploaded video footage (see below) of drummer Derek Roddy's (HATE ETERNAL, NILE, TODAY IS THE DAY) performance from the 2010 Drum Road Trip 2010 in Webster, New York. The rest of this 45-minute clinic can be viewed in the September 2010 issue of Sick Drummer Magazine.

Derek Roddy (born August 28, 1972) is an American drummer, originally from South Carolina. Though he may be well known as the second drummer of HATE ETERNAL, he has also played and recorded with NILE, MALEVOLENT CREATION, DIVINE EMPIRE, COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN, TODAY IS THE DAY, TRAUMEDY, and AURORA BOREALIS. Now an international drum clinician, he currently writes and records original music with his own band, SERPENT'S RISE — based out of Deerfield Beach, Florida.
