DESCEND INTO NOTHINGNESS: New EP Out Now

Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada-based metallers DESCEND INTO NOTHINGNESS have released their new EP, "Empowerment of the Oppressed", via Cryogenic Records. The EP contains four brand new tracks produced by Yannick St. Amand (DESPISED ICON). Audio samples can are available at this location.

In other news, the band has issued the following update: "We just played our first round of shows with the newly reformed lineup. Last weekend the band made appearances at the annual FME Fest in Rouyn-Noranda, and kicked off the third night at the historic ['1982 – 2007: 25 ans Métal Québécois'] in Montreal. Vocalist Ian Campbell also had the honour of being one of the speakers for the induction of VOIVOD's Denis 'Piggy' D'Amour into the Quebec Metal Hall of Fame."

DESCEND INTO NOTHINGNESS has been confirmed for the Trois-Rivières Metalfest VII, set to take place November 2-3 at Maquisart in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:
