DESCEND Parts Ways With Singer, Seeks Replacement
February 7, 2008Swedish metallers DESCEND have parted ways with vocalist Leo. A statement from the band reads as follows:
"Leo has decided to resign from DESCEND; his draining lack of motivation has ultimately forced this decision. Leo will refocus his energy into other aspects of life and new musical projects of his proper style. We wish him all the best.
"DESCEND is auditioning new singers! If you master various singing styles such as clean and growl and live in or near Stockholm, don't hesitate to contact us!"
DESCEND last year posted the songs "What Drives Us" and "Orders From Above" on the group's official web site. The tracks were included on the "Orders From Above" EP, which came out in the fall of 2007.
