DESTRUCTION Complete NUCLEAR BLAST Contract, Explore Label Options

May 3, 2004

After a five-year tenure as a Nuclear Blast recording artist, German thrashers DESTRUCTION have fulfilled their contractual obligations to the label and are currently exploring their options before deciding their next move. According to a posting on the group's web site, the band are in talks with several record companies — including Nuclear Blast — and will make their decision soon.

Since inking a deal with Nuclear Blast in 2000, DESTRUCTION released three studio albums and a live CD through the Donzdorf, Germany-based label: "All Hell Breaks Loose" (2000),"The Antichrist" (2001),"Alive Devastation" (2002) and "Metal Discharge" (2003). In addition, the group issued their first-ever DVD, "Live Discharge - 20 Years Of Total Destruction", this past March.
