DESTRUCTION Frontman Schedules MUSIKMESSE Signing Sessions

DESTRUCTION/HEADHUNTER frontman Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer will take part in signing sessions this weekend at the Dean Guitars booth at the Musikmesse Frankfurt 2008 fair in Frankfurt, Germany. He will be present, alongside MORBID ANGEL's David Vincent, on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

HEADHUNTER, the reunited German band featuring Schmier, STRATOVARIUS drummer Jörg Michael, and guitarist Schmuddel (ex-TALON),will release its comeback album, "Parasite of Society", on May 23 via AFM Records in Europe. The CD was mixed by Achim Köhler in Stuttgart, Germany.

Two songs from the album — "Doomsday For The Prayer" and "Silverskull" — are available for streaming at the band's MySpace page.

HEADHUNTER had its trio of albums originally issued during Schmier's years away from DESTRUCTION"Parody of Life" (1990),"A Bizarre Gardening Accident" (1992),and "Rebirth" (1994) — re-released on September 7, 2007 via AFM Records.
