DESTRUCTOR: New Album Release Date Announced

September 14, 2007

Cleveland thrash metal legends DESTRUCTOR will release their new album, "Forever in Leather", on October 9 via Auburn Records. The release was pushed back slightly so the dates could be coordinated internationally with all the distributors.

Produced by BREAKER guitarist Don Depew, the album was recorded at Metro Sync and Noise Floor Studios in Cleveland, Ohio and was mastered by Mark Klein. Aaron "Pants" Sechrist designed the cover art and CD packaging graphics.

"Forever in Leather" final track listing:

01. Tear Down The Heavens
02. Skull Splitter
03. World of War
04. Damage Control
05. Unleashed
06. Precision Devastation
07. Unearth the Earth
08. Forever in Leather
09. Straight to Hell
10. Doomed to Centuries in Ice
11. Pounding Warriors

"Skull Splitter", a song written about DESTRUCTOR's 2004 Bang Your Head!!! festival appearance in Germany, is available for streaming exclusively on the band's MySpace page.

DESTRUCTOR will take part in the "Metal On Metal 25th Anniversary Concert" on Saturday, September 15 at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio. Also appearing on the bill are RAVEN, ANVIL and PILEDRIVER. All four bands will be doing full headlining sets. Cleveland bands MANIMALS, SOULLESS and LICK THE BLADE will support. The concert will celebrate the 25th anniversary (1982-2007) of Bill Peters' "Metal On Metal" radio program, heard every Friday night in Cleveland on WJCU 88.7 FM and streamed live worldwide. The very popular underground radio program has featured import and independent heavy metal for parts of the past three decades. Tickets are only $15 in advance and available at this location.
