DETONATION: 'Portals To Uphobia' To Receive U.S. Release In October

Dutch melodic death/thrashers DETONATION will release their second album, "Portals to Uphobia", in the U.S. on October 10 via The End Records. The CD will be issued in Europe on September 12 through Osmose Productions. The first 1,000 copies of the European release come in digipak, featuring additional artwork and an exclusive multimedia section. A full-length MP3 of the song "The Loss of Motion Control", taken from the forthcoming album, can be downloaded at this location.

The follow up to 2003's "An Epic Defiance", "Portals to Uphobia" was recorded at Excess studio in Rotterdam, Holland and features cover artwork by Niklas Sundin of Cabin Fever Media (IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, DARK TRANQUILLITY).

In other news, DETONATION will be touring Europe in September, supporting DECAPITATED and GOREROTTED. DAM will also be appearing on the bill.
