DETONATION To Celebrate 10-year Anniversary With Hometown Show

October 5, 2007

Dutch melodic death/thrash metal outfit DETONATION will celebrate their 10-year anniversary with a special hometown show at dB'S in Utrecht on Saturday, October 26. The band will perform material spanning its entire career — consisting of two mini-CDs and three full-length albums — including cover songs and tracks that haven't been played live in many years.

DETONATION's latest effort, "Emission Phase", was released on April 30, 2007. The CD was recorded with Split Second Sound's Jochem Jacobs (also guitar player for TEXTURES) and Bouke Visser. The cover artwork was created by Eliran Kantor.

"Emission Phase" is DETONATION's third and final album for French underground label Osmose Productions.
